U.S. Employment-Based Immigration: Our Client Yoon** Receives the NVC Letter Just 5 Weeks After I-140 Approval!

Published: 2022.07.05
Dear our client Yoon XX,
Congratulations on receiving your P3 letter.

Hello. This is MCC, the People Who Lead Success.

July has brought the real summer heat, and with it some welcome news at MCC.
In this post, we bring you news of a client in the EB-3 category, the third preference for U.S. employment-based immigration, who received an NVC letter just five weeks after I-140 approval.

Our client Yoon XX is going through unskilled employment immigration and plans to file the DS-260 around August or September.
Our client timeline is as follows.

Client Yoon XX (EB-3)
LC filed
2021.06.14
LC approved
2021.12.01
I-140 filed
2022.05.19
I-140 approved
2022.05.25
NVC Visa Fee, DS-260 Letter
2022.07.01
DS-260 filing planned
2022.08 or 09
P3 letter received just five weeks after I-140 approval

Even though our client was in no hurry to move to the United States, every stage was approved faster than for most other applicants.

The I-140 can be filed within six months of LC approval, so our client bought as much time as possible at this stage. The next step, the DS-260, is scheduled for August or September 2022 for personal reasons, and the key question is how quickly the interview will be scheduled after filing.

We thank our client for trusting MCC and waiting,
and we will give our best on the steps that remain.
