This week a very special NIW immigrant visa approval came in from continental Europe, and we would like to share it with you.

Unlike the usual case where the immigrant visa is finally issued at the U.S. Embassy in Seoul,
this case was unusual: it was first transferred from the U.S. Embassy in Seoul to the U.S. Embassy in Singapore,
and after that transferred once more, to the U.S. Embassy in Belgium.



When processing an immigrant visa application (DS-260) from outside the United States,
if the residence of the principal applicant is a third country rather than the country of birth,

then by submitting proof of lawful residence in that country,

for example a foreigner ID card of that country or a real estate contract related to residence,

the case can be transferred to the U.S. embassy in that country.

Even a single transfer like this is rare, and two or more is extremely unusual,

and requesting two or more transfers can raise suspicion of embassy shopping (?) from the U.S. Department of State,
so a very careful approach was needed.





Drawing on years of know-how, we at Success Immigration passed on to the client the procedures and methods
for carefully transferring the case again without drawing special suspicion from the Department of State,

and the sharp-witted client carried them out well, successfully re-transferring the case from Singapore to Belgium.

After the case moved safely to Belgium, the client had a comfortable interview with a very kind Belgian consular officer
